Curriculum Vitae

"Writing is the art through which I express ideas, knowledge, and emotion—guided by the humanities, culture, and music. In every text, I uphold truth, ethics, and moral values as the foundation of all that is worth telling."

Jessica Alarcon A.

My Educational Journey

🔹 I began my academic path in 2014, entering high school with a growing interest in communication, culture, and reflection. I graduated in 2018 with strong academic results and a deep sense of purpose that would later guide my university studies.

🔹 Between 2016 and 2019, I pursued language studies through the Alliance Française. During this time, I gained intermediate proficiency in Italian and developed a basic understanding of French grammar and comprehension. These experiences expanded my cultural perspective and strengthened my attention to language and detail.

🔹 From 2020 to 2024, I studied Communication and Journalism at university. These years helped me shape a critical and humanistic perspective, focusing on contemporary culture, ethics, and objective journalism. I completed my degree requirements by the end of 2024 and officially graduated in 2025.

🔹 In the near future, I plan to pursue a Master's degree focused on humanistic, philosophical, cultural, and religious studies. My goal is to deepen my understanding in these areas and become a grounded voice—one that communicates knowledge based on theory, tradition, and reflection. I seek to contribute meaningfully to society, whether independently or through institutions that uphold truth, culture, and moral responsibility.

  • My skills

    🔹 Writing and Expression
Writing is essential to who I am. I have a natural ability to create texts in various formats and journalistic genres, adapting the structure and language to each case. I can write objectively, with precision and factual support, or express a personal perspective when the topic allows it—always avoiding exaggeration and superficiality. My style balances clarity, structure, and critical thinking.

    🔹 Research and Fieldwork
Research is at the heart of my creative process. I conduct it daily, both through documentary sources and firsthand fieldwork—interviews, observation, and comparison. I believe that writing should be rooted in reality, and that truth is not constructed, but revealed through thoughtful inquiry and responsible verification.

    🔹 Interviews
I approach interviews with preparation and purpose. I study the subject and the profile of the person I'm speaking with, and during the conversation I rely on active listening, empathy, neutrality, and tact. I believe a good interview is not just a series of questions—it's a human encounter that requires attention and depth.

🔹 Public Speaking and Oral Communication
I am comfortable with oral expression—improvised or prepared. I can read aloud or present ideas with a tone that adjusts to the context: calm, clear, and persuasive when needed. I enjoy moderating, narrating, and communicating with meaning and control, always with language that reflects the value of the content.

    🔹 Editing and Translation
I work with Spanish and English texts, especially academic and reflective writing. I revise translated material with care for grammar, structure, and tone, ensuring clarity without losing the author's intent or depth.

🔹 Ethical Focus and Humanistic Vision
In every area of my work—writing, editing, or interviewing—I remain faithful to an ethical foundation. I believe writing should serve truth, culture, and conscience. My work is guided by values, not trends. It reflects a humanistic worldview rooted in clarity, tradition, and responsibility.

Freelance Writer & Copywriter
I publish essays and research‑based articles on culture, humanities, and music, exploring each topic from a moral and ethical standpoint. My work combines solid evidence, clear analysis, and a respectful, values‑driven perspective—always aiming to offer thoughtful insights without leaning on trends or bias.

“Writing is my way of persisting with purpose and passion, while preserving my values.”
